Phil Tufnell was a very fine cricketer, too, playing in 42 tests for England and taking 121 wickets with his left arm orthodox spin, playing with the likes of Mike Atherton, Graham Thorpe, Nasser Hussain and Alec Stewart, and against the might of the best Australian team and a Brian Lara inspired West Indies. As if that’s not enough Tuffers went on to become King of the Jungle in I’m a Celebrity, a long-serving captain on A Question of Sport, danced in Strictly Come Dancing and is a Test Match Special pundit and commentator.
